First i will give you the abbreviations from A-k:

  • alt: alternate
  • approx: approximately
  • beg: beggining
  • bet: between
  • BO: bind off
  • CA: color A
  • CB: color B
  • CC: contrasting color
  • cdd: center double decrease
  • ch: chain (using crochet hook)
  • cm: centimeters
  • cn: cable needle
  • CO: cast on
  • cont: continue
  • c 2 L: cross two stitches to the left
  • c 2 R: cross two stiches to the right
  • dc: double crochet
  • dec(s): decrease(s)
  • DK: double knitting weight yarn
  • dpn: double pointed needles
  • EON: end of needles
  • EOR: end of row
  • FC: front cross
  • fl: front loop
  • fl: follow; follows; following
  • g or gr: gram
  • g st: garter stitch
  • grp(s): groups(s)
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • hk: hook
  • in(s): inch(es)
  • inc(s): increase(s)
  • incl: including
  • k: knit
  • k tbl: knit stitch through the back loop
  • k-b: knit stitch in row below
  • k-wise: knit wise
  • k1 f&b: knit one stitch in front, then one in back
  • k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
  • k2tog tbl: knit 2 stitches together thorugh back loop
  • kll: knit left loop
